Belgian Griffons - wire-haired dogs of black or black and tan color. The muzzle is decorated with eyebrows, beard and mustache.
Brussels Griffins They also have a medium to hard coat with an undercoat, but their color is red. The face also has eyebrows, a beard and a mustache.
Petit Brabancons - smooth-haired dogs. They are characterized by all three colors.
All three varieties of griffins can interbreed. In one litter puppies of all three varieties can be born. However, they are exhibited in Belarus in different rings.
However, in the United States, Britain and Australia, all three varieties are still considered the Brussels Griffon and are displayed in the same ring.
