August 8 - Cats Day!
August 8th celebrates the most furry, mustachioed, delicate and affectionate holiday - World Cat Day! The International Fund for the Protection of Animals in 2002 officially established such a holiday. However, it has been unofficially celebrated since 1987. The beginning was laid in Japan: in the country they wanted to create many shelters for purring creatures, as well as produce a lot of healthy food.
