A dedicated mom pony saves her foal from a fire. Read the details!
Although this story happened a long time ago, we decided to publish it, since it is yet another confirmation of the dedication of animals and the fact that they are capable of feat for the sake of those whom they love.
An incident that occurred in North Texas (USA) and flew around the United States in 2014 excited many: TV news channels, websites and newspapers told how a pony mother named Bella rushed to save her two-week-old daughter Toffee from the fire.
The flames of the stables in which they lived spread very quickly. To save her child, Bella pressed Toffee to the wall and covered her body. They managed to save them, the baby escaped with several small burns. But Bella suffered so much that doctors seriously feared for her life.
The owners of the ponies did not have enough money to treat Bella (and required $ 1,000 per day) and were forced to abandon her and Toffee, transferring the animals to the animal welfare activists from the North Texas Humane Society.
Funds for the treatment of a dedicated mother raised all the United States of America.
Bella quickly recovered and all this time continued to feed her daughter.
